Headlight blinks when alarm arming
My setup is a Truck-Lite phase 7 LED headlight, and my original front blinkers were LED strips that plugged directly into where the factory turn signals plugged into up by each speaker.
These new turn signal lights plug into the same plugs, and the passing lights, I wired to the auxiliary switch, by tapping into the wire in the fairing that connects to that switch. The passing lights are grounded to the light housing, which is bolted to the bike.
I've disconnected the passing lights, and the left and right blinkers individually, neither of which has made a difference. The only thing that has stopped it from occurring is if I unplugged BOTH turn signals.
I can't see where at what point, anything that I did somehow crossed paths with the headlight. I've inspected all of my connections and all wiring and everything looks good.
It doesn't bother me that it flickers, I'm just concerned about the long term effects that this will have on the LEDs in the headlights and their life cycle.
Any help is very much appreciated, thanks!
