I just had the dealer install the electra glow saddlebag lights but I think they might have wired them up wrong.
Correct me of I'm wrong but the lights are supposed to glow brighter with the application of the brake?
Currently my saddlebag lights flash brighter with the indicators - this must be wrong?
How are yours wired if you have them?

You have an HDI (intl) model so you cannot compare what yours does to what ours does. There may or may not be a problem depending out what Australian code requires........same as a Canadian Street Glide has the fascia light in back but it only has a circuit board with no lights inside.
You cannot wire up those light "wrong" as it were - the module plugs in between the rear lighting harness and the bag lights into that, there is nothing you can plug in the wrong place so one of three things: 1)that's how they are in Australia 2)You have the wrong part number installed (there's three different ones) 3) The kit is defective.
First step would be the check the part number is correct and check with others in Australia to see what those do.
My boss just informed me that according to Australian design rules indicators have to be yellow, so even though these saddlebag lights can be used as turn signals in the US it's illegal to do this in Australia as they are red.
They can be used as auxiliary brake lights however.
As a result I have booked in with the dealer to get them rewired to the brake lights. I am going to push hard to get this rewire to be done as a warranty job as it wasn't done right first time.
