Default Anyone with Revo legend shocks?

I was very close to pulling the trigger on 444 Progressives but the dealer offered to loan me a pair of Revo-A legend shocks next week so I thought I'd hold off on the progressives till I test the legends.
Does anyone have experience with the Revo?

I did on my 2012 CVO road glide.
They were "ok".. I guess.
I think I wanted to like them more than they really made a difference.

Certainly better than what is on my new 2015 road glide special, but, I will not go buy them again. I do not recall getting on the bike and suddenly feeling an incredible new difference, but I do get on my bike now and notice it is not as smooth.

This time, when I do shocks, I will go with the top of the line Ohlins from Howard. I will spend the money and get what is argued as above and beyond all the rest... just to see once and for all if there really is a difference.

That will be nearly $3k for front and back... ouch.

Call Howard. Get info. Then make your decision. He is great

Thanks for your candid response. I have tried 2 different brand shocks on my EG and have actually had a similar reaction as you did with your Revo's. I don't know whether our expectations are set too high or these aftermarket shocks are not all that!
You mentioned Motorcycle Metal and with all due respect to Howard, I've talked with him once, seems like a very nice guy and knows what he's talking about but I'm just not ready to drink that cool aid. I know there are many that worship his work on this site but I was never one to follow the herd. All that has been said about his home made Ohlin's may very well be true but I just can't believe that there are not other comparable top of the line brands on the market that work just as well.

I agree. That is why I am likely buying his next, partly just becasue I want to know the truth.
I have had stock, I have had Revo Legends, I did monotubes up front...

Now, I will soon try Ohlins from Howard and know that I have really tried the full spectrum of options.

It's just an expensive leap of faith, so I am not in a huge rush for now.

Keep us updated on your choice. I'll do the same.
