Bags are included with Ultra & Limited (at least what I see on dealers floor).

So back to my original question, does anyone have an official list of what is and is not included?

Probably best to contact the motor company and ask but they often send you back to the website which is primarily generic.
The list on the Limited is as follows:

Paint and badges
Twin-cooled engine with mildly higher compression
CB standard
Security standard
6.5 radio standard
Heated grips (if it's not a low)
Tour pack luggage track
Chrome contrast wheels
Gloss black inner fairing

The only item I'm unsure of is tourpack 12v accessory port. Maybe a non limited owner can let us know. A limited had one.

I will say for me, the value was in the Limited. The price difference would have evened out by the time I added the options on the Ultra. It was like getting twin cooled for free.

TP 12v port isn't std on an Ultra Classic - I installed one on mine.

Does the limited have a single or dual headsets included?
And as far as paint it's not included just different color choices right?

Paint is just different (stripes wrap around the end of the bags instead of ending on the side - color option is still an extra. as with any model.

I'm wondering if some have even bothered to look at Harley's fantastic web site to answer their questions?

Go to: http://www.harley-davidson.com/

Highlight with your mouse, "motorcycles," in the heading. Drag your mouse over to the model you want info on. In this case, Ultra Limited.
Click on it. You will get this page:

http://www.harley-davidson.com/en_US...a-limited.html

Look at all the choices you have it the heading, including "paint and wheels." click on it. You will get this:

http://www.harley-davidson.com/en_US...l#!three-sixty

Not only can you look at the bike from every angle, if you scroll down, you will find all the colors. Click on them, and, "walla!" there it is!

Check the specs and pricing link, and you will find the price of the paint.

http://www.harley-davidson.com/en_US...ed.html#!specs

Their site won't answer all the questions, but it's much better than what most of their competition has.

Single headset is included.

Your correct about the paint.
Vivid Black is the std price
Color option is a little more
Two Tone is even more

Same as any other model.

Or (perish the thought) go stand next to both bikes at the dealer.

LIMITED in the US has liquid cooling. The 6.5 Boom is about $1800 at the Harley dealer. Their is quite a bit of difference if you are in the US.

Ordered WITH the bike, the 6.5 is only about $700 more.
