Lost keys
You never stated the year of the bike...
If it is less than 10 years old....
(don't remember when the fobs changed... 05, 06 or 07, I know 04 had the button fob, and 07 had the proximity)
....the security is always active when the fob is not present.
You will need to have the dealer get, and program, new fobs, a new key alone will not work.
