Long story short misplaced keys with security fobs attached. Can I just replace ignition switch and all's good. Bought used so have no idea what original security code is. 04 RKC. Thanks
Just go to your local HD dealer and order a tour pack lock with your vin. It's $25 and they give you two new keys. (Cheaper then ordering the keys alone) the fob shouldnt keep you from starting the bike unless you had it armed. Remember to take your pink slip and ID with you to order the lock.

sorry to hear of your Key Loss...... I found a set of keys in the street several years ago,,, would have love to return them but no clue as to they belonged to.. I think got to thinking IF I lost mine, how would someone return them to me??
What I did was google search GI Dog Tags.... Found several site.... had tags made with my cell number, and REWARD --- 99% chance anyone who found these would call me and i would gladly buy them dinner.... think about it.... great $5 insurance
However, this does not fix your problem... Good luck
The original dealer that sold the bike will have the code recorded, but if the first owner changed it you may contact them. Esther way your going to have to go to a dealer.
It should serve as a reminder to people that have security on their scooters, learn the override code and how to use it to start the scooter if the FOB is lost.
