Just sent my Ultra Classic seat off to Mean City Cycles to have some mods done. Hoping to get lowered at least 1 1/2" so I can be flat footed while on the bike. Has anyone used them? If so can you give me a review. They were recommended by a member here so I know at least one person has used them lol
I've used them on a couple of seats on a Honda and on my Road King. They do excellent work and will move your position to wherever you want it. If you've already sent it, then rest assured you're going to be happy with the comfort and the quality. I haven't needed to use them recently, but I remember them having a variety of options and levels of modifications.

Thanks. It's not scheduled until Nov 4th but I sent it early since I can't ride right now anyway due to some back pain. Really hoping this does the trick. I don't want to start messing with the suspension.
If you use the advanced search function, type in Mean city Cycle, select search titles only, you will get 216 threads that should tell you everything you want to know about them...
I can save you time searching. For one you already sent it.
Secondly, I've used them and they do great work. Allen is very good at what he does. When you get it back, looking at it, you'll think he didn't touch it. When you sit on it, you'll know he did his magic.
I just bought a stock seat here on the forum. As soon as it arrives I hope to have my old seat off the bike and sent to Mean City for some comfort mods. I don't think I need to shift my position but they do seem to offer staying in place with additional comfort.
Haven't decided which is the right option for me yet but I think I'll narrow the seat (fat thighs) and do something about the center of the seat putting pressure on my pelvic bone bone and surrounding soft tissue.
