Time for the kids (hopefully not) long winters nap. Can still pull the Limited out though for a ride if the weather goes good lol

Not ready to lock them in the bike room yet. Two weeks back we had frost on the seats coming out in the morning, some cool 28-30 degree riding. Last week it was 52 at 0430 and 70 during the day. Won't lock them up until the roads get bad.
When they must share space front wheel chalks or bike jacks that hold the bike straight up and allow you to move them over save a lot of room.

Once I pull the bags and clean the rear wheel on my bike, it's going up on the lift until spring.
I'm on a (short) dirt/gravel road and once it gets snowed and iced over my riding season is over, not to mention that I would never ride my bike on salt covered roads.
That said, I may get to ride to the local watering hole one last time tomorrow, IF the weather permits.

Not just yet for me in Ohio. I'm actually gonna have to do a service on one of my bikes so I can ride it down to Ocala in a couple weeks.

Another advantage of living down here. Just getting into the best riding time of the year.
Used to live in northern Wisconsin, I feel your pain. JR

I hear ya, I'm from Michigan, there is definitely pain.

But in FL the weather is good during the winter, but is there anyplace good to ride?

I think when I finally manage to escape Michigan, I'm going to eastern TN or western NC

This is one of the few things that I do not miss about living in New England. Here in Florida it's year round riding. Most people put their scoots away during the summer because it's so hot and humid. Last Saturday at Biketoberfest, bikes were overheating while stuck in traffic trying to get into Destination Daytona.

I hear ya. I'm only 350 miles away from all that great riding, and I swear I'm going to buy a cabin in the Cherokee area, put it on the rental market so someone else can pay for it, and then in 15 years retire and move there and hold up in my little house and write chicky **** books and become a millionaire and do groupies and ride my bikes all over the place.

And eat pancakes.

Pretty much my game plan. 4 more winters and I'm done with it.
