I'm getting some 14" Yaffe monkey bars installed on my 2012 CVO street glide , and I'm just wondering if anybody else is running these bars on their street glide and how they like them?
As discussed many times on other threads - Yaffe bars are actually 1.5" - 2" taller than listed - I have the 12" YBB on mine and they measure close to 14" actual. So if you ordered the 14" - you really wanted 16" bars.

u sure about that.. Everyone says the same exact thing about kst. They are virtually identical.. Yes they do measure higher to the peak.. The 14" measurement is from the center of the clamp to the center of the grip area... 14s are 14s where they count which is where you hands will be.. BR has bars with buck horns or some crap on them and they arnt called 33" bars.. This has been discussed and measured in the past

I understand that but where are they measuring to.. The max height doesn't matter its where the hands are...I actually measured mine.. Go check urs out and get back to us.. Go from the center of the clamp to the peak and center to the center of the grip..

I'm with Decency on this. It's the amount of rise when the bars are set to the "suggested" pullback. If you rotate the bars forward till they touch the fairing they will be "higher" than if the were set to the "proper" pullback. I put quotes in there because not everyone sets their bars the way the manufacturer recommends.
I borrowed this from the Wild Ones website.
Their website gives a very good explanation of how to measure bars. Every manufacturer seems to be a little different, but everyone seems to measure their bars a little different.
