Something is wrong with something??? No way! I have the same setup and get great comments all the time. Bassy, deep, throaty, rumble a lot--especially on decel. Only other setup, here locally, that are deeper are the high outputs by V&H....and a set of CFRs I heard. Mine are very deep
I have dressers and I had the round slash tip mufflers too. Too quiet and shitty sounding for me. I went with Rinehart 4"ers and the sound great. I tried the performance baffles for a few months but was over the noise and the torque loss. Just the Riney's and Dressers sound great!!
2014 SGS stock head pipe to Dresser Duels to True Duels running Rinehart 4"on all of them. Im much happier with the V and H True Duels. Much more of a deep tone and just plain sound better

Um - Dresser Duals are "true duals", there is no V&H part called "True Duals"
Did you mean Power Duals somewhere in this equation?
Vance and Hines dresser duals with Khrome Werks 3 1/2" touring mufflers sound really nice on my wife's 2006 Ultra. Nice deep tone. I liked the sound so much I put a set of Khrome Werks mufflers on my 2012 Ultra with my Fuel Motto head pipe. Same thing, nice deep tone that barks when you get on it but doesn't make you deaf crushing down the highway.
V&H Dresser Duals combined with CFR's on my 09 SG is a perfect setup, in my opinion.
Great rumble sound. When you wrap the throttle, game over. Sounds bad *** to me.
