Do you get the same power loss in other gears at the same rpm? If you think it's fuel starvation try cracking open the gas cap a little and see if that helps. If you have>50K or close to it could be fuel filter it should be changed at 50K.
Fuel filter is actually supposed to be changed every 30,000. I've had mine plug up twice at about that mileage. Either change it to eliminate that as the problem or have somebody check the fuel pressure to rule it out.
Have you had any head work done on the motor? You say "Stage 1" but with SE 266 cams which puts you into a "Stage 2" set-up. Those cams are an extremely high lift and duration for a stock head and may be what is causing your problem. If you haven't installed the proper springs in the heads and the proper pushrods you may damage the motor significantly.

I agree entirely with this. If you have stock heads/solid pushrods this would be the first thing I would check. Second thing I would check would be the fuel filter/ housing. Housing could be cracked or filter could be plugged.
I'll be following this as I have a similar issue. Mine's a 2008, stock engine with no work, stage 1 with SE 255 cams, V&H V02 NAKED air intake, stock 2008 header with stock narrow band 02 sensors and Samson slip on cans, Dyno'd at dealer with SESPT, fuel filter and filter housing were replaced 1 year or less than 12,000 miles ago, and while on a recent roadtrip it would loose power or struggle to go past 72-75 MPH specially on any incline, when I gave it throttle it wouldn't speed up but the exhaust would get a lot louder, sounded like a helicopter, and when the road would get back level it would finally speed up a little but it was still louder and during this there was strange smell but no smoke and it didn't cough or backfire, made it to where I was going and when I got off the big slab every time at stopped at a light the feature that turns off the back cylinder would kick on and it seemed it was running hotter than normal.

Check crankshaft run out. Sounds like a possible scissored crank.
The roadtrip that I mentioned in post #6 on this thread was 2 weekends ago and it was a 1,050 mile round roadtrip. After that the bike sat for five days, rode it a little last weekend and it did OK, then it sat for 4 days, and last night I went and filled it up, then this morning I rode it to a job I got 50 miles away, and to my surprise it did great on the expressway, passed anyone when I wanted to without hesitation, even had it all the way up to 90 MPH with no problem, and what's weird I ain't done anything to it, it just sat there for 4-5 days, but yesterday when I went to fill-up I did turn OFF the feature that turns OFF the rear cylinder by rolling the throttle forward and holding it till it flashed red 3 times, but that's all I've done. Also the weather is now much cooler than during the roadtrip, but I'm still thinking either a fuel related issue or clutch issue, and like I said today it ran great, but I'm afraid if I go somewhere far it's gonna do what it did during the roadtrip again. Any ideas on what it might be or what to check are appreciated.
