^^ This.....my local shops don't have that much in stock fastener wise. In the event thati loose one I can get most of it locally. Just buy the parts and service manules from harley.

I paid 34 for a factory service manual off ebay in pristine condition.
05 Ultra owner.
Keep you eyes out on ebay and CL.

Look up the correct #s on the web, search Ebay etc., if no luck I order all mine from SURDYKE.com 20% off the standard $60, and no tax, if not in Mo..
Also I always keep all my manuals after I sell a bike. They come in handy for friends and I've bought similar models more than once.

Hardware Index

Yeah, the hardware index lets you know what size fastener, 1/4-3/8-1/2 etc. It will give you the thread pitch as well as the length of the fastener.
Example 5/16-24x1". Saves you a bunch of hassle.
