For what it's worth.....to anyone contemplating a removable fairing. Here is a side by side comparison of my Road King with a Quadzilla detachable fairing and my Ultra Classic. Both bikes were exactly the same distance from the camera. The horizontal and vertical dimensionsindicated by the arrows in the bottom photo is exactly the same. The Ultrafairing appears to be wider and and thinner. I suspect that is due to the fact that it is painted with a horizontal color change and that the nacelle housing on the Road King is painted black and not chrome.I was curious about thiswhen I was considering a detachable fairing but could not find any definitive information. Maybe this will help someone else who is considering one also.
Fast eddie, Stop showing the pictures of your flippin' bike. Everytime I see it I can feel my wallet getting lighter. Man, it is awsome, with and without a fairing. Just curious, why did you want two bikes with a fairing? Heck, I can barely afford one harley, let alone two. You need a bussiness partner? I don't know what you do for a living, BUT I can assure you it isn't hawking dice at a casino like me!
Here is a side view comparison. Photos were not taken at exactly the same spot but there appears tobe a slight difference in the angle of the fairing. Drew a line down the center of the forks and the along the edge of the windshield to compare. You would not notice it with the naked eye

It's a family thing. We have a Road King and an Ultra or when we want to tour together we have two touring bikes.
