As I said in your other post about your Corbin - i have had 4 built on 4 different bikes - At the Corbin factory- in Hollister, CA.
If you want a Corbin worked on - it would be best if you deal with Corbin - keep in mind - it will (of course) need to be shipped to Hollister ($$) and back to you.
Where did you buy this?
Makes a difference
If you bought direct from Corbin - the adj may be less $$
If not - the adj will cost you - remember - you will trying to 'fit' a custom item to Your body by talking to someone on the phone?
Just two weeks ago, the wife and i went to Corbin/Hollister and spent 5 hours getting the seat built/fit to us- now, this was a dual touring + tour pack back rest - poont being, Nothing beats being there and explaing to the builder what we want - over the phone - Very hard to do
Still, call and see what they can do for you
Note - If you call Corbin - keep very good notes , person on the phone, date and time - ask a lot of questions and again, keep good notes - as much as I love my Corbin - i have heard several horror stories of people dealing with Corbin over the phone - its a mystery to me because the Customer service at the factory (Ride in appointments) is Great
Called Corbin they said nothing the can really do to it cause its the Hollywood and there is not much there to work with. He said it would cost the same in the end to just buy a new seat.

I see you called Corbin, the contact i had was for the 'ride in app' manager and the person i spent a day with building our seat.
I am not sure what year bike you have
Corbin we site:
97-08 / Hollywood solo $333 or Holloywood solo slim $219
08-16 / Hollywood $393
If you buy the Used at $275 (you said pillion was going to cost more) pay shipping back to Corbin + pay to take apart and redo - will cost you more than a new one
My suggestion - find another seat - buying a used Corbin at (at best) 70% of a new one or at worst - more than a new (Slim) : not sure what a slim is?
And corbin will give just about amyone who says they are a vet or pd or ff 10%
I love Corbin but all of mine have been built for me at the Hollister factory with me there. Teying to order one over the internet ( and for me $1K) not a gamble I would make - thats Only me - wife and I are just way to 'picky' lol
