Ran into...
the former owner of my Road Glide on Sunday. I found out more about the bike that the dealer couldn't tell me. I found out whatcams are installed, that he had relocated the electronics from the right side to under the seat and installed a stereo amplifier on the right side. Now I need a set of speakers from JM or Hogtunes.
He alsotold me that he had ridden the bike through 33 states and halfway accross Canada. I told him about the SW Mini Rally and he said thatI was going to love this bike in the mountains.
I wish I had gotten his number. I discovered that the bike has the security system installed, but I didn't get any key fobs. I can get another key fob and make it work, if he hadn't set the personal code. Is there anyway to reset the personal code back to the default code, if he set one? Or would I have to buy a replacement module?

My buddy started his 2007 RK Custom and then went and 'swapped jackets' the other week. He got to an event at the dealership and he turned his bike off... and then realized he didn't have his FOB. Instead of the Service/sales guys telling him what the 'default password was' for his bike ... they graciously took $40 from him for a new FOB. Problem is he received 2 FOBs when he purchased the bike .... and now only the NEW FOB works. The other 2 don't. So he has to go in and straighten that out. I showed him how to set the passcode to disengage the security without the FOB.
