Default Inner cam bearing help.

Hello all and thanks for taking a look at this thread.

I am getting ready to do a cam swap in February and have a question about the puller too. Here's my question, where exactly should the expandable mandrel contact the bearing when expanding. I don't want to rupture the cage and send those little needles every where. Does it just expand into the middle of the bearing or should it go behind the bearing and expand and then extract. Any help would be appreciated.

It goes behind & remove bearing before starting second bearing. Kinda of a no brains but I didn't think of it.

Wouldn't the puller catch on the bearing seat after expanding?

I figured it would catch on the case or bearing seat after expanding.

No, it won't expand that much. Just enough to catch the bearing.

I think I'm just way over thinking this job. I am pretty mechanically inclined and I think my mind is just being a a-hole. Lol
