It may be to loud for a touring bike, but it damn sure looks good.

Default Done ?

Finally after several issues and waiting on the powder coater I have it back together. I am not sure if I am going to keep the pipe. I have mixed feelings about it. I think I should go ahead and black out the engine and exhaust but it has been suggested that I should keep some chrome on it to have some contrast. I was not too keen on the red but with the black I like it.
Let me know what you all think. Keep the chrome or go all black.
Thanks for looking, hopefully I can get these pics to load.
S.B.

Looks good - the black wheels are a good touch. But I agree with you, a black exhaust would be too much. Definitely get rid of that loud open pipe - not only will you hate the noise after an hour, it kills the low end torque that you would use in normal riding. A good two into one pipe with a muffler would be ideal.
Nice job, now enjoy the ride

Crap, after all that time and money to chrome out my bike, now after seeing your photos, I want black!

Very nice!

Looks good, I'd ditch the pipe also. I have to believe it will cook the paint on the bag if you ride a long period of time, unless the bike is going to just be a bar hopper.

The pipe is a stock head pipe off of a newer dresser. The pipe has the cat in it and is not very loud. It actually has a nice deep rumble to it. The end turns out away from the bag so I don't think there will be a problem with heat.
