Had some time off of work so I rode over to the local dealer for some small parts that I need for my upcoming 95" build on my '06 FLHT. I know the salesman there pretty good and we got to talking about Road Glides, he offered me a RG Special 2015 for 18k which I think is a pretty good deal. They have a pretty small place and need to get rid of the 15's to make room for the new models. Unfortunately he wasn't able to offer me a good price on my current ride, he suggested that I sell it privately to avoid taking a bad offer. I understand that being a small shop they don't have much room for older bikes. I may consider doing that, I really want that RGS!
ok its Saturday the dealer is open and we are all dying to know what your going to do ?
By any chance was that 18k plus things like $1000 dealer setup? If not I say go for it.

I got an email from dealer yesterday offering retail price for all trade ins. Yeah right.....
I traded my 2008 Street Glide in on Dec 16th and received Kelly Blue Book retail for it when traded in on a 2015 Ultra Limited Low. I couldn't complain when I got $14,500 for trade in on a bike I only paid $11,00 for 2 years ago. Final price on the 2015 after trade was $14,800 (with dealer fees).
