Friend did on his RG & I went with the W0513 8 1\2" baby apes... He wishes he also went with the Baby Apes as the W0517 was to much pull back and his wrist felta bit un-natural
Sometime's you can utilize the stock brake line but you will alway's need to rebend the crap out of it to make it work. Do yourself a favor, spend the few extra bucks and go with the correct length braided line, not only will it fit and look better, but you'll have alot better feeling front brake also. Rich
I put the 517's on my 04' RG, and all of the stock cables fit. You will have to straighten out (bend) the brake line to make it work. I didn't like that, so I put braided lines on. Iused +6 clutch, throttle, and idle cables, and +4 brake line. My clutch cable is a little long, you could probably use a +4 for it also. Having the wiring inside the bars makes it alot cleaner!
You can still use the factory cables & lines on the W0513 but will have to do some creative bending of the front brake line... If your going to change cables and Lines go with the +2" and you can add closes to $300.00 plus additional labor to replace these (Around additional $500.00 + total)
