Default Drive Belt
I noticed a line in my drive belt.., haven't got a chance to look at it yet but wondering if anybody else had seen this. Looks as if something got caught it it and wore on on it. Saw it on Friday but left for the weekend was asking before i look at it 2 morrow. I actually looked at it today and I don't see anything that is rubbing the belt. I am thinking I ran over something that got caught in it

I will get a pic 2 morrow.., but there is a line worn in the belt as if it was cut (small line down the belt)

We got that from your first post! Let us know what you find when you check it out. Sounds as if something has rubbed against the belt, but it ain't easy to see stuff over the internet - or across the Atlantic for that matter!

Something cut that groove in the belt. I would take a long good hard look at the entire path that the belt travels paying particular attention to the area around the Drive Pulley. I'd probably not replace the belt unless the groove has cut through to the underlying cords.

belt is too lose, and is rubbing on the inside of the primary cover. tightening it up will stop the worsening, but I would replace the belt as well

I would replace it and adjust properly.
