Flag mount pole to replace tour pack antenna???

Flag mount pole to replace tour pack antenna???

I now have a detachable tour pack and absolutely love it. Problem is I had it custom painted with the rest of the bike and the painter forgot to fill in the hole for the antenna mount. Said he would make it right but before I have to do without for a while I was wanting to know if there is a flag mount that would screw on in place of the antenna. Thanks in advance.

Never seen one but should not be hard to have one made. My concern would be the strength of the plastic mount that was designed for a whip antenna. It might not be able to take the stress of a solid pole with a small flag.

Yes I agree and a concern for sure. Hence another reason for the post. Surely if I could find a pole mount or even make one it would not be able to be very tall for the reason you mention. Still curious and looking for ideas.
