Will check the pressure plate and adjust if that's the case to see if that fixes.
I will also test out for a paste on the metal shards. If it's not a paste what exactly does that tell me?
That pic is bad sorry, but it was on the lift and was about 1/4" below the clutch plates. Didn't spill a single bit when I put it on jiffy stand. So was definitely low!
Guys run less than 16 oz in the primaries of these bikes with built motors when using a bandit clutch. There has not been widespread reports of failures due to that.
Yeah was between the sprockets outside the plates. Hoping it's just an adjustment or else when this dealership calls me back they are getting a nice piece of my mind about how they didn't do this when they "changed the oil" right before I bought it.

Make sure you have your ducks in a row and eliminated all possibilities before throwing accusations at your dealer. You may need them down the road.
The pics you posted actually look normal to me. Hopefully it's just an adjustment problem.
Well either way the oil was way low and I had other issues on the bike I had to bring it back to them to fix. So odds are on them having not paid done to the work to cut costs in all honesty.
They almost "forgot" to change the oil on me which I had to get them to do and probably why they didn't even look in the primary.
I also live in a major metropolitan area, there are 12 HD dealerships around. I am through dealing with this one after this and the previous issues.

Reason: Added last line.
I used to live up in that area and have bought 2 bikes from Ft. Worth Harley. They used to have a pretty decent service department and always took care of any problem I had. It's a shame to hear they are slipping.
you're assuming that they didn't do the work, when the assumption that you should be making is that they did, but they only put in the 32oz like a lot of old techs do, instead of the 38oz spec. I think that if they didn't change it at all, that it would look a lot dirtier than it does. after 5k, my primary oil is a lot darker than that. I don't get as much 'fuzz' as you have, but that doesn't necessarily indicate a problem.

put the bike in gear, have someone sit on it, and hold the brake.
for getting the proper torque on it when tightening, I use a t-handle allen key, and a 'pass-through' socket from craftsman.
