I am considering purchasing heated gears(jacket, pant, gloves, etc). Where do most people hook up their heated gears to on their bike? I was considering using the accessory switch on the inner fairing on my 2012 FLHTCU. In addition, where is this connection located on the bike?
Most heated gear will come with the pig tail and inline fuse, to hook up to your battery.
How you run the plug is up to you, I personally run mine off the front of the seat. Easy to tuck away when not in use, easy to plug into when I need it.
I use a dual wireless troller thats attached by my master cylinder for easy accsess so I only have one cord
