If you'll search, you will see that you should never use syn3 on pips!
Only useMustang Shockproof Heavy on your f'ing pips. Same thing applies to the Heritage Air Temp gauge ~ they ALL wave the same when you have HOG roadside ASSistance. Now, that only applies when you plug the tube on your 07 tranny in 5th gear with a PCIII.

Some forums have a trick post that always stays on top.Something like "must read this post first" then when you open it there is instructions and suggestions on this topic,...do a search...,check out other posts.......ect

For some of us that started out riding in the Panhead days... instead of the internet we had to ask older guys some of the same questions I read here, & got some of the same answers
Questions & answers were like :
- What oil ya running ? ..... What ever the gas station has when I need it
- What spark plugs ? .... what ever is on sale
- My muffler keep slipping off .... Make a shim out of a beer can or rivet it on
- Is my jetting too rich? .... if youre not blowing out black smoke, youre ok
- My panhead always leaks oil ... yeah and whats your point, they all do that
Times change but the basic questions remain the same
