Yeah I was going to tell you Nelsons but got beat to it. And I won't let Chris Waddell tune a Briggs and Stratton. He's a numbers guy. Don't give a **** how your bike runs afterwards. Told me the andrews 48 was too big a cam for my 08 sg.
Collier hd has a nice shop too. Located exit 173 I95
Well never made it to collier. Bad weather. But I did finally get my bike tuned yesterday.
Went to see Nelson at Nelsons dyno tuning center in Raeford NC. First off, Nelson is a fun guy. He was a pleasure to work with, and after spending most of the day with him, Im glad I chose him. He is very personable, yet to the point. Hes not a fan of my propipe. Anyway, we needed to drill holes in my head pipe to avoid drilling my baffle. He put me right to work! I pulled the heat shields, drilled the holes and installed the ports. Then after checking and double checking everything he began the tuning process. He explained everything he was doing throughout the process and I am very happy with the results. The whole process took about six hours. The numbers are less than I expected, but the torque curve is where I want it, and the bike runs great. It is much improved at cruising speeds. Cracking the throttle in 5th gear at 60-70 mph, is where I can really feel the tune. 6th gear is much better as well. Cant wait for my annual trip to Robbinsville in two weeks.
