Why not just go with Wild ONE'S 577'S.

If they're for a King or RG, it's not going to fit. You'll need that bend to clear the fairing and the bottom for the clamps might be too narrow.

+1 on the WO 575's. I really wanted to do the same thing. +4" on the clutch cable. I have mine tight to my inner fairing and my hands are still 2" higher and 2" back from the stock bars. I did decide to change my mirrors to Kury's in which their mount moves the mirrors out. Plus they have LED lights at the edge. Very happy with setup. My hand block about 20% of the mirrors which is no biggie and I like the fact that I have no mirrors above my bars.

I wish I could find one to sit on and try... I did notice though that the 575 is only listed for bikes up to 2013. To bad, it might have been the right fit.

Their catalog states as you say. They do have a wo578 which is a 10", albeit a little taller. You could pull them back to lower them. The link is a side picture of the WO578. I'm sure a phone call to Wild 1, Inc. wouldn't hurt.

I put the 2+2 sweepers on mine and love them. My hands are just below the fairing, although you do still get some air across the top of your knuckles. Great product at a great price and fairly easy to install.
