Glide,

I just put the Legends system on my Road King and couldn't be happier. When the shocks are full, the ride is super smooth. One of the things I like is the fact that you have the option to fill it up when riding with a passenger, or slam it when you park it or want to cruise. If you lower it with shocks, that is pretty much your only option.

I had mine installed in Laughlin two weeks ago. A buddy of mine had his done last year and has had ZERO problems with his system. I still took the time to look around at other systems before I had them install mine. Honestly, it was worth the extra coin for the Legends system. The components of the other systems I looked at were just that, cheaper. I am very pleased so far with the Legends system. The day after I did mine, another buddy had them do his Fat Boy, and he is pleased so far as well. I'll stop pushing their product now!! It speaks for itself!!

Check platinum air shocks. Several members have it. I know Primo does and says it is great.

AirFX looks like a nice system too. Anybody have any experience with them? I met the owner/inventor at a bike show. He is a robotics/pneumatics engineer. He is pretty confident that his is the best thing since sliced bread. Every other system I mentioned he had an opinion on their design and a comparison why his was superior. I know, what a shock but he seemed to know his stuff. Just curious.

All the top end systems seem to be priced about the same so it is just a matter of finding the best one for you application.

SHOOTER64 - Did you get enough interest for a group buy on the Platinum systems?

RJ

P.S. I heard a rumor DB is giving a new wiring harness with every system and a bottle of water to help swallow your nutz after you bottom out.....maybe I heard wrong.

I have the Legend system on two bikes. While I am not unhappy with them nor have I had any problems with them (3 years on one) I thinkI would tend to now look for a system that has separate action for air pressure and ride height. Probably either Platinmum or Progressive. One thingI really like about the Legend is the control switches on the handlebar. They integrate with the stock controls the best andare ergonmically set in the right spot to do adjustments while you are riding. See attached photo.

Noooooooo!!!!!![sm=signs006.gif]

You can do a search on this forum for Draggin Baggers and find an earfull. Stick with the companies that know what they are doing. I dought Draggen Baggers has made any advancments since this time last year. They were using Monroe Corvette shocks. If you go this route do some research. You can buy the same parts for around $100.00.

Lots of people here got screwed by this company. Use caution.

Eddie, where is the compressor installed? I don't know where I would put one. I have an compressor for the air horns in the cranny forward of the battery, PCIII under the right side cover, and a cruise-control motor under the left cover. I don't want any more crap under the fairing, for sure.

Actually I'm running the Hi-Lo system on my Street Glide http://americanvtwinmotors.com/hi-lo.html and I couldn't be happier.
