Ive always been annoyed at the way the bike drifts forward after setting the bike down on the jiffy. I ordered the 10 degree stop for my bike and will report my observations in the future. Just like many of the lazy engineering that plagues these beautiful bikes, they can be eliminated by solving the problem one at a time.

It looks cool, I don't like how it rolls forward either. I have know a few guys who have broken the tab, but not on a late model bike. I emailed the company and got the ebay link. I am going to order it. Thanks for the picks. I don't know the seller or have any interest except for my own. Heres the links:

the angle does bother me, but it bothers me more that the bike can move forward a bit after the stand is down. It'd be nice if the tab was machined wider then the original so there is less play

I only read page 1.

I honestly believe this is a solution for a problem that does not exist.

It's not the stop that too narrow, It's that there is too much clearance between the diameter of the shaft and where it fits into the main bracket. If you could put a thin sleeve on the shaft it wouldn't do that as much.

Just wanted to give a quick abbreviated review of the parts that Dave sent me also. Since rv7 provided some very nice pics I see no reason to include any since my install was basically the same as his. Bike is a 2012 FLHTK (Ultra Limited).

Both parts were shipped promptly and are of excellent quality. Dave has been very easy to communicate with so if you did encounter a problem I believe he would offer good customer service.

The stop: Install is very straight forward (easy) and only takes a few minutes. This product will move your JS arm forward approx. 2" when extended. While this is certainly not required it is a nice addition for $20. I like it and will leave it installed on the bike.

Spring relocation bracket: IMO the bracket is not needed. It puts a little to much spring tension on the arm for my taste. Not a big deal but the entire JS bracket has to be removed also to install this piece. The stock spring location works fine.

Thanks to Dave for letting me review his product.

Thanks
Scott

Scott

Would you say it causes the bike to:

Lean over more than stock?

Lean more upright than stock?

Lean the same as stock?

(Speaking to the lean angle of the bike not the jiffy stand)
