I wonder how other years/models compare to the touring bikes as this part relates. For example, I have a tab for an 05 softail sitting here. It looks very similar to mine but I haven't compared them to see if the angles are the same.

I only ride the SG about 4000 mi/yr

Ordered one on ebay. Just got it in today and it looks very well made. I haven't installed it yet but I was wanting to comment on the quality of the machining and plating. I'm sure it will work just fine.

FYI - not sure how yours arrived - when I got mine, He was ONLY shipping the tab - no longer the spring included.. the Tab worked great and I love it...

Don't need any correcting , nothing wrong with. But your cash go for it. And when it fails come back and blame HD.

interesting post - is your Harley 100% stock? or maybe a piece of chrome here and there - Every Harley owner buys items that they think will either look cool or help in one way or another - I know I sure have. As far as this part - it does prevent what we do not like about our jiffy stand - as you stated - Yours does not need correcting - you must be ok with the way it shifts or rocks at times..

Not real sure how this part can 'Fail'
