Default Upgrade gauges?

I wanna upgrade my 2010 ultra gauges to the same year Titanium gauges from a Limited. Anything else need to be changed to make it work? Wiring? Programming or calibration of used gauges from the Limited?

If you buy them new the dealer with apply whatever mileage you want. I had the titanium gauges prior to the Dakota Digital I have now.

Other that that it's plug and play.

On your 15, did the dealer need to do anything?

What do you mean by plug n play? I was told by the dealer they need to do it to get the proper milage. Or are they just pulling my chain to get service hours like they always do?

Go with the Dakota Digital gauges, you can add your current milage yourself and they look awesome. I just put a set on mine, you can get them cheaper from these guys. http://www.ebay.com/itm/HARLEY-TOURI...P4g_1w&vxp=mtr

The dealer will do it if you replace with new and put your current mileage on it. If you find some on craigslist or from a member you will have to accept the mileage that are on the them. They will be much cheaper and will simply just bolt and plug in.

If you want HD gauges buy them from Boardtracker, they set the milage to whatever to desire. Then you can just plug them in.

A little different with Dakota Digital or Medallion, they have the option where YOU set whatever mileage you want. You have 100 miles or so to do so then that mileage gets locked in.

If you buy used HD gauges the miles are the miles, there's no changing it.

If you buy used Dakota gauges you can send the speedo to Dakota and then will set it to whatever you want. Cost is $25 plus shipping.

Side note: The bike "actual" real mileage IS stored on the ECM but IT won't marry to new gauges.

Hope this helps

I pulled the trigger on a set of 2011 sliver face gauges to put on my 2010 ultra from ebay. 13k on the clock. The whole set of 6 was only $100 bucks. Hope everyone was right about plug and play. Now I have a whole chrome gauge trim ring kit I never put on the stock gauges if anyone wants to buy them for less than half cost PM me.
