Your 07 has a lower max air pressure than the 09 and up bikes. DO NOT put 50psi in your shocks. I'm pretty sure that 35 is the max for your shocks.

I'm sensing from this response that you may not be aware that Street Glides come from factory with lowered, not stock length rear shocks.

That's why I stated the one I put was for the 09 Ultra.

Owners manuals are available online for free on the HD site, and will have the tables for the SG.

They list it in the owners manual. Here it is for an 09 Ultra.
Pretty sure that this sheet is applicable to the later ( new chassis 2009 ) models.

Take the brackets OFF and thow away. My 07 egc had on when i bought it, had to replace run /brake light module, rear tailight ,and rear fender wiring harness cause the tire chewed all the wires up. Figured this out after no tailghts or turn signals .thats when i found brackets ,promptly removed and tossed. It was like riding a totally new bike. Those brackets effect the suspension geometry. This is my .02 worth. Look at seats or shocks anything but lowering brkts.

If they come from the factory, they are factory stock length......"lowered, not stock length" does not make any sense. If they are shorter than the RK or Ultra, that would make more sense. but not stock length from the factory does not.

My shocks are what came on the bike new, I am assuming. They have not been altered.

I might just do that....I am not a big fan of how the bike rides 1" lower. I am just more comfortable sitting that much closer to the ground when stopped. But I am moving more than stopped. So, those brackets might come off real soon.

No wonder why I hate riding with passenger. I've been at 28psi. I'll have to crank it up to 50 and check that out.

Thanks

I ran the lowering blocks on my road king and just adjusted them per the manual and they performed fine and I couldn't tell a difference in the ride with or without them even riding 2-up, granted the RK shocks are 13" compared to the 12" SG shocks. In my experience going any lower than 12" on these bikes you will scrape a lot in turns, that's why I didn't put them on my SG because I already scrape at the stock height.

I am really thinking about just going back to the regular shock set-up without the 1" lowering brackets. It rode better without them on the bike.
