When I bought the bike, I was told by the dealer in order for
the CB to work I would need the mike. Plus they charged me
an hour labor because they said it was hard wired in. Well, today
after I called I was told the mike was in. Took the bike up and
went ballistic when it took them 5 minutes to install the mount
and he pluged the mike right in. On top of that they billed me
$15 for labor that I already paid $78 for. Took them 20 minutes
to figure that out. I wanted a refund on the difference but was
completly ingnored. I won't be back there.
Bummer, you are right to try another shop. Sure the money you are out is gone, but in the end you have your CB, and I assume it is working properly. I would just be happy if when I ordered a part from my dealer, they would actually call me when the part was in. Not one time have they made the effort to even call me. Unfortunately for me, they are the only HD shop around. [:@]
