Default question concerning new pipes and fuel processor

I recently installed a set of vance and hines dresser duals paired with the oversized 450 slip ons, the vance and hines fp3, and a K&N aircharger on my 14 flhxs.... The issue im having is the pipes now "pop" upon accelerating or anytime you really give it throttle... I checked and everything seems tight, I called the fp3 customer service and they said everything was tuned correctly but one gentleman said that it may be an air leak somewhere while another gentlemen I spoke with also from vance and hines said that the bike will do that for awhile until the bike actually "learns" the new system.... just curious as i have never had this issue before with other systems on my other bikes and was hoping it may just take time or just an easy fix... thanks

Maybe an exhaust leak or intake leak. Usually get popping on decel. Check the tune again. And just checking is it auto tune?

Did you change the exhaust gaskets where the pipes attach to the heads? That is usually where they leak at. I would check the nuts on the exhaust studs at the cylinder heads and make sure they are tight.

It is currently not in autotune mode, the vance and hines rep said to wait until about 2-3 tanks of fuel and then put it in auto tune to further "fine tune" the bike...... and the gaskets were replaced and I tightened the nuts on the cylinders and everything seemed tight... ill check just to be sure though

I ride the bike for a tank full and then recheck everything to make sure it's snug. The exhaust gaskets in the heads usually bed in and can use a slight tightening after that.

And, you're absolutely sure the map is flashed and you flashed the right map? Are you showing maps in position "0" (factory map) and position "1" (V&H map)?

I would check the intake gaskets on the air intake.

Also, there is a app for the fp3 that you can download on your phone and check or adjust the current map. I would download that and check the current map.
