Welp, it had to happen eventually I suppose, lol.

Picked up a 2013 Street Glide in Midnight Pearl yesterday. Absolutley love this bike. Not that I didn't enjoy my Dyna, but it was time for something better suited for longer rides.

I'm 29 and have been riding for 10 years now, but my Harley Journey began in 2012 when I got my Iron 883.

After that, I got my Dyna, which I had for the last 2.5 years.

It's been a great journey, and I am thrilled for the next chapter!

P.S. The wife says she slides off the back seat a lot. I've seen that 4 point mounting hardware, sissy bar, and pads can run close to $500+, yikes! What is the most economical way to get this done? I've seen some mounting hardware for like $60 on ebay and sissy bar with pad for $140, but is there a less expensive approach that I am missing?

I bought the 4-poing mounting hardware, quick detach backrest with backrest pad for a bit over $200 (also picked up a quick detach luggage rack, just can't remember if if was part of that same purchase) on ebay. Have had them for nearly 2 years now and no issues. Just make sure what your bidding on is for your bike, I believe there was a bit of a change to the 4 point mounting system in 2014.

Welcome to the gizzer forum for touring, lol. Just kidding, I went back to a touring bike after 5 years on a softail. Look at the classified here, there a lot of great deals and people to deal with.

Welcome to touring my friend. Search craigslist and ebay for stuff you want. I only buy genuine HD stuff from US sellers. I've gotten a lot of good stuff reasonably priced. Always someone getting rid of their extras. Be careful and read fine print before you click buy. Put a road glide seat on that she will love it. Nice glide BTW.
