Well this means Low Battery Voltage and I can not clear the code. I held it down longer than 5 sec and it did not erase. Any advise on wheter I shold go in the morning on our trip? The bike seems to be running good.

double-check your battery connections. sometimes 1/4 turn makes all the difference in the world.

Make sure the terminals are clean, too. If you're that concerned, and the battery is getting old, I'd buy a new one before heading out on a long trip. Better than getting stuck in Bugtussle for a day waiting on a battery.

I went to theHD shop on Saturday morning with the Low Battery Voltage code, turned out to be two loose Ground wires under the tank/seat area.

Did you get the recall on some of the voltage regulators?

No I did not get the recall. The tech changed the regulator while I waited but it was still throwing the code so he started looking around and found the loose grounds.
