Brothers,
I had been plagued by a 562 code on my 07 king for the better part of a year. I ran all tests by the book, stater, VR and battery. Battery tested a little shakey , so i replaced it thinking, I finally got it. Well after the first ride on the new battery, the code appears again. I decided to give up and just chalk it up to the 600 watts of amps that i run on the bike, a man needs his tunes. So i would reset the code when it popped up and one evening i got home late and did not hook up the trickle charger. Well low and behold, no code all day. Have not put it back on the trickle charger since, 3 weeks have gone by and no codes.
Just thought I'd share in case anyone else has a similar issue
Hmmmm interesting..... I don't have a listing for the 561 code? What does it mean? I've been battling a 562 (low battery voltage) all last riding season and I also use a tender when not riding.
You mentioned "trickle charger" are you using a trickle charger or battery tender?
