howard horn mount question
LOVE these horns but small problem is driving me NUTS. the install had me put the rubber mount behind the cowbell. no matter how hard i try that rubber mount will not allow me to position the cowbell so that it stays vertical. always leans to one side or the other. the mount already has the main rubber mt-think if i put a metal spacer behind the cowbell that i'd be safe????or would i stress/crack something??

Installed one on my '01 RG and had no problem with thw cowbell and the rubber washer - it was the air hose to the horn that was causing the bell to **** to one side... I put a longer braded hose and it worked fine after that... You want the rubber washer as it does allow for some movement nad a solid buehing\spacer may cause the mount to crack in time...
