Default Price difference

I was looking to buy a new helmet and a few more accessories .. checked the pricing out at my dealer here in Montreal .. helmet $220 .. checked dealer in Potsdam NY ..$150.. even with the exchange on the dollar thats a $50 difference in my pocket .. that gonna make my mod budget go a lot further .. and Potsdam is only about 1 hour away ...and a nice ride on top of that ..

Definately a good idea to shop around. Ebay use to be good, but I haven't seen a lot of good deals there lately. There are a couple hd dealers that give a 20% discount. Check them out. I know I will be making any of my larger, more expensive, purchases there.

As suggested there are several HD dealers online offering decent discounts. They are worth looking into for larger purchases.

If anyone knows of a Dealer offering 20% discounts I wish they would post the name or link to the dealer site! I want to make a bunch of purchases soon and my local dealer isn't offering any discounts at all.

zanotti hd
chicago hd
surdyke hd
20% off and no sales tax, shipping goes back and forth but within a couple of dollars.
internet ordering works best for me when spending $100 US or more, do not know of canadian shipping fees or
import tax ?
go on the hd web site and look for dealers in canada that may offer discounts

I do a lot of business with Zanotti, they have a user friendly website, answer EMAILS quickly, and you have the parts usually within 2 weeks if they have to get them from the MoCo

Harley doesn't make helmets. They have manufactures do it for them and put HD label on them and mark them up about 50% more than the same helmet with no HD logo from the same manufacturer. Shop around on the internet for the best deals.
