Lots of good advice here....I would also suggest that you carry an extra battery for the keyfob. If you happen to be unlucky and the installed battery goes dead, and you can't remember the pin, its way easier to just replace the little battery.....GL, ride safe.
My wife would never understand...
And what is a Givi box?
Givi is a name brand of hard luggage usually used on other brands of motorcycles. I use one for a "Tour Pak" because they're cheap, tough and come off the mount like a suitcase.
I'm on my phone or I'd post a pic. Do a user name search on me and click on a thread I started on a trip to Louisiana and Barber. You can see it on my Road King. I'm a function over form guy.
Here ya go. It comes off the detachable tour pak rack and has a handle to carry like a suitcase. It holds as much as a Tour Pak.

Stage one and a good set of travel bags. You don't need a tour pack. They don't hold that much.
They hold a huge amount of stuff! I've had it both ways, and the new trunk with even a small bag on top gives you way more storage and still the option to pile stuff a mile high with a cargo net if you need it. Nothing wrong with a King, but as far as storage goes, you can't beat an Ultra...
To OP, like most said, pipes, a/c, backrest, and the rest is all taste. I had the boom handlebar mounted stereo on my Road King and loved it for most riding. Anything over 70mph it just wasn't enough though. You'll miss a lot of things about your street glide, but nothing beats the look of a well dress King. Good luck with your new bike!
SGS will get you alarm and abs. Comes with cruise. Get a 4 point docking system to add an after market king tour pack, with luggage rack, from ebay for $500. Much more comfortable for your lady friend than just a back rest, so I'm told. Get your self a larger wind shield from lrs and the under fairing wings. Add on a stage one to your liking and a set of highway pegs. Might want to think about boards for her. When you solo or just cruising around town, take off the tour pack. If you want to communicate with your passenger, the sena smh10 is a great system.
