Default Keeping it stock this time....mostly

I have had a Suzuki 500, VTX1300C, VTX 1800C (Loved it), 2008 Road King, 2010 FLTRX, and now my newly purchased 2015 FLTRXS. Iv had many different exhausts, slip ons, 2into1, 2into2, super obnoxiously loud, stock stripped of insides, long pipes, short pipes. Iv had reusable air cooling aluminum oil filters, 4 different air intakes, tighter clutch plates, wider tires, too many seats to count, every size windshield, no windshield, progressive shocks, bolt covering kits, complete gauge replacements, my God the money Iv spent.

Two things here, 1. Upgrades add ZERO to resale or trade in. 2. I will upgrade the speakers, add an amp, add a passenger and driver backrest (best purchase ever).

Oil will be Royal Purple 20-50 except tranny, it gets Royal Purple 75-90.

Harley got it right on this, and most bikes that I see on the sales floor. Its a beautiful bike that runs great with a rich history.

Keeping it stock. LMAO. Ride it for a while and you won't be happy with something. It is just in our nature.

After the shock of the initial purchase price wears off, you'll be changing everything all over again. If they were all stock, this forum board wouldn't exist.

I don't think I will keep it totally stock but so far the 16 seems to need a lot less than others that I have owned. Some stuff ergonomic and comfort stuff is almost unavoidable.

I did keep my 2010 to dump money in though.
