HELLO.I HAVE A QUESTION,I HAVE A 1990 ELECTRIC GLIDE-1342 ENGINE,WHAT IS THE GAS MPG ON THIS ANYONE KNOW? MY GAS MPGS SUCK,I GET LIKE 25 MPG,AND I HEAR THAT IS BAD,IF SO ,WHAT DO I DO TO CHANGE IT OR IMPROVE IT,HAD THE CARB. REBUILT 06,HAD TO REPLACE THE IGNITION MODULE IN MARCH 07,HAVE SET THE TIMMING TO SPECS.STILL THE MPGS. STILL SUCK. HELP[8D][:@]

Dang... Friend has a '95 E Glide and when we ride he's always getting 36 - 38 MPG??? All he's done was Fishtail exhaust and re-jetted the carb.. other then that bone stock???
Welcome to the forum. I have an 06 Carb bike and get around 43 mpg. It is kind of hard to guess what you should get. So many variables such as mods, riding style and such. There have been some good discussion on the subject, use the search feature. Sorry I could not be of more help but welcome again.
I just did 250 miles at around 80 to 90 MPH and averaged 41.5 mpg. I think that under normal highway driving conditions that I'd get around 45. See my sig for my bikes upgrades.
Install a Thunderslide kit for the CV carb and your mileage will increase without hurting performance. My '96 RK routinely got >50mpg on trips in touring trim.
