Speedo issues
Went to go for a ride today. The speedometer and the odometer did not work. If you look close enough you could see the odometer light and the red key on the speedometer dimly flicker. I did disconnect the battery to install cooling fans and install a daymaker headlight and passing lamps. Rechecked the connections near the battery and pulled the front faring and checked connections there could find nothing loose or corrosion. Decided to go for a ride. Bike ran fine, turn signals, all other instruments works and cruise works. In about 20 miles into the ride it came back to life. Drove about about another 20 miles and made a pit stop for about an hour. Drove for about and stopped for fuel. Took off from the gas station and went to reset the tripomoeter and the speedometer and odometer went out again. Same as before every thing works fine but the odometer and speedometer. Maybe just a bad speedometer or could it be something else?
