no fob, no security code they state they cannot do anything, i didnt know the moco was in bed with apple on things like this

of course its a delphi system i would think that there would be a plug n play part in the program that would allow for a factory reset

if you do not know the security code of your ride...LEARN IT, OR CHANGE IT
a new fob is 40 bucks at the dealer, an hour to program, a new HFSM starts at 350.00 plus labor to install and program. its a very minor precaution but at the end of the day, knowing that code or having that fob will save you a lot of headaches and bills in your wallet. Everyone with the passive system should know about the bypass and how to set it and what their current code is, it will keep you from having non start security system problems

please take the time and learn this simple procedure
first thing you should do before leaving the dealer. second thing is to remove the heel shifter

^^^ This.

I wouldn't expect the dealer to give you the previous owner's name, but they can certainly call them & ask. I'm sure it's a fairly common situation.

Could be a privacy thing on the previous owner.
