I need a new seat for my Road King Classic. I need a seat that will sit me upright and not leaned back. I don't want to sit in my bike, I actually want to sit on my bike, "as funny as it may seam." My arms are not comfortable stretched way the heck out, but if my back was normal it might not be so bad. My two lower vertebrates have been welded "fussed" together so i cant bend like i need to, to be comfortable. I have ridden 57000 uncomfortable miles, and I have had enough! I am not going to do it any longer!!! My bike is an 07, so I don't know if I can go to the dealership and try a seat on for size, so I am looking for some advice before I start ordering seats and sending them back till i find the right one. The parts guys will thank you.
I just sent my seat to Mean City Cycles for a redo of the foam for comfort. You may want to check the website and see the options they have. Cheaper than buying a seat, unless you are just set on a new one.
Allen spent time talking with me about what I wanted and suggested what sounds to be better for me and the wife.

I have the Mustang on mine, but I think I'm going to have to add their rider backrest to get the full support my chronically aching back is going to need.
You might find that what you really need is a backrest more than a different seat.
