My standard turned 106K this weekend! They are great bikes to make your own.

put a set of freedom performance pipes on, don't really care for them, they eat up some power and are a bit harder on gas

but.....they are nearly new, 300 bucks Canadian, and look a lot nicer then rusty head pipes and old Rinehart slipons

Too bad they discontinued the Standard. It was a nice, clean ,basic, affordable bike. The first Harley I rode was a friend's '99 FLHT, in 2004. He lent it to me, for a weekend trip. He still owns it. Still runs great.

I installed a pit of Eagle Light passing lights today. They don’t match my JW Speaker 8700 100% but at 40% of the cost I’ll settle. I did notice these lights put off a lot more heat than the headlight so I’ll wait and see how well they do and maybe order the matching headlight. They were easy to install and put off a lot of light but still haven’t had a chance to ride yet. Waiting on a cable kit to install my ape hangers and relocate the front turn signals to the mustache bar below the passing lights.
