Put the 3/4" floorboard extensions from Soos on my EGC last night. Great kit, easy install and it's amazing how just 3/4 of an inch can make such a big difference. Thanks Soos!
I put mine on a couple of weeks ago after installing my Rinehart T/Ds. Amazing product!
Soos, watch out we'll be seeingknock offs by *-Glide Goodies or Cycle *agets!
I have the 1" on my Ultra (and had them on my '05 EGC as well). I can scrape the boards a little easier, but it is not a big deal since I am not out canyon carving on the Ultra. The comfort is the factor for me on the bagger and those extensions do make a difference.
Does these give long-legged riders a bit more room?
How long does it take to install them?
Any recommendations regarding 3/4 inch versus the one inch kit?
Is there any significant difference between this kit and the similiar kit offered by Harley Goodies (also a HDF sponsor)?
Andy
I didn't notice any increase in leg room length wise but it is nice to get my feet out away from the frame. To me it feels a lot better.
Took me about half an hour to install them. How long it takes probably depends on your tools and work space.
I got the 3/4 inch from Soos and have been more than happy with them. I can't compare them to the ones from the other vendor as I haven't seen or used theirs. I can say Soos shipped quickly, the materials were first rate and the included instructions were well done. I've been very happy with my Soos kit.
