Hey guys,so I just bought an'12 Ultra and it seems a bit cramped to me . I am only 5'9 so I don't see how you taller guys don't feel really cramped up. I have had a couple Street glides and never felt like that on them. I did get a Street glide seat for this bike and it did seem to help but the wife won't like it. So do the rest of you feel a little cramped up on yours?
You most likely bought one with a "Reach" seat on it.
Very common add-on.
I would try to find a stock take off, or go with aftermarket in the stock config. '08-'13 will work, and '14-up might, mechanically they are the same, but the passenger seating is a bit wider and deeper, could rub your speakers and tourpak, not sure, never tried it.
Your local dealer may have seats you can trial fit on your bike, which will help confirm what SM suggests, at least visit so you can compare your seat with a stock one. That will at least help you decide what to do next. In addition to the stock seat H-D make versions for both short and tall riders, as well as custom options.
I always felt cramped on a Batwing bike which is why a went with a roadglide. If you still feel cramped with a standard seat you can always look at a Corbin Solo Tour seat. Gives the rider more room, but you give up passenger seat area. Perhaps look into the brackets that allow you to move your tourpack back further for passenger room. I forget who makes them, I think it might be Kuryakyn.

The Mustang "Super" Tour seat will sit you back like the SG seat does. The Mustang height is about the same as the stock dresser seat but back almost 2"s.
