.......so........whats making you feel cramped. the seat position, the batwing, the trunk, your foot/leg position in relation to the pegs/floorboards. the bikes are very similar from the seat forward. i would think that the stock seat would be very similar to the positioning of the street glide.......i think some of it may just be in the head. sorry. ride it a while, you'll get used to it. i'd hate to think i bought a new to me bike and you aren't comfortable.

It's not in his head. The SG seat and the OEM dresser seats sit in totally different positions.

The SG seat sits the rider back about 1.75"s and down further than the Ultra seat.

10" bars helped a bit with the cramped feeling for me. I also pulled the cover off the seat and cut some of the foam away. Next step is to lower and move the footboards forward. I'm just not willing to pony up $200 for the brackets. If I fail at building my own brackets, I might spend the money.

I felt the same way on my 12 Ultra until I moved the footboards 1" out with VtwinGoodies spacers and 1" forward with HD extended footboard pans. The outward spacers get your knees away from the tank and the extended pans help you stretch out. One of the best ergo mods I've ever done. BTW, I'm 5'10".

I felt cramped on mine, I switched out the stock seat for a Sundowner. It's sounds like you might have the reduced reach seat, it puts you up on the backend of the tank. My cousin has one and it's a ball crusher.

Thanks guys for all the suggestions ,mainly my legs feel cramped. I had highway pegs on my street glide and never used them but I really feel like I need them on this bike

3 words...Tall Boys Cycles http://www.tallboyscycles.com

Get their Floorboard Relocation Kit...makes for much better comfort. I also added the 1" spacers ZenGlide suggested. Way, way better for my legs.
