Default Fm 117

Just completed my Fuel Moto 117 build took a couple months but all I can say is it f^*£^#g RIPS!! It was worth the time and money. I recommend this setup but make sure you take your time. I set my piston squish to .034 both heads cc'd out at 86 cc so my static compression is 11:11/1 . Fuel Moto was great doing bussiness with I sent my case and flywheel to revolution for all the upgrades , new crank pin , timken bearing conversion , balance trued and welded crank, also gave them my piston weight so they could factor that in with the balancing. Put in a S&S TC 3 cam plate and oil pump zipper cam tensioners.
While I had everything out I installed a Baker street door with lager bearings a Baker throw bearing kit, screaming eagle manual primary chain tensioner. Also put on an Alloy Art front motor mount and did an atmosphere breather setup.

So how much power and torque did you wind up with? Can you post a dyno sheet? Bet it is a blast to ride!!!

Thank you it is unbelievable !
Eventually I'll get it dyno' but that's for bragging rites, seat of the pants is the real test and all I can say is it's a good thing I know a lot of cops! Lol
Jamie told me these builds with everything I did and have consistently put 130-135 hp and 135-140 lbs.

Please excuse my ignorance because I am still fairly new here. What bike do you own? Perhaps, more importantly, what was your stock engine? 103 or 110? I am aware of a 117ci build for the 110 CVO engines, but would love to hear that you did this to a 103.

Thanks in advance. I bet it is a monster.

I have a 2007 streetglide it came stock with a 96 I did a SE 103 stage 4 race kit at about 50,000 miles, I then put an additional 50,000 on the 103. I wanted more and I had some issues with oil consumption so I opted for Fuel Motos 117 kit.
I figured if I was going to do the lower end this time it only cost an additional $300 to bore the casses for the 4.125 jugs.
You have to bore the casses for this build and I would recommend a timken bearing convention and balance and weld the crank.
This is not a weekend project.
Plan to spent a lot of time researching and chasing things down, along with a lot of specialty tools.
I have a full shop in my basement garage with an airlift and lighting that you would expect in an operating room along with a very clean work area especially the floor. Dirt and dust is a major enemy to an engine. While you bike is apart you want to upgrade your transmission because this engine will turn your already eneamic mainshaft bearings to dust. Also you going to want to clean up everything you took off degrease repaint and polish everything. It just take time lots of it.
But in the end you give yourself a masterpiece it looks like a new bike even smells like one.

I was looking at this kit pretty hard about 2 months back, it's great to hear about someone who's pulled the trigger. Not counting tuner and dyno time, I was guessing "the rest of the build" not included with the FM kit would probably run about $4800 if assembling myself. This would include machine work, clutch, induction and exhaust upgrades. From your experience, is that near the ballpark? I'm not after your final number, just curious as to how far off I am on the non FM piece.
