Default front fork brake line splitter

I'm in the middle of running new brake lines ( magnum shielding) with my mini apes. The roll pin that keeps the factory splitter from rotating and working loose in the forks is offset with the factory line splitter. The holes in the new one are inline and if I put the second hole on the roll pin it is off center. Any ideas?
Thanks, pitbull

Pull the roll pin. Use some good lock tight to mount the new one and you won't need it (the roll pin).

If you have a star washer.. that works wonders as well.

Exactly. A big pair of vice grips will do the job. I pulled mine when installing the Magnum Shielding setup and it has stayed put for years. No issues. Good luck!
